LESSON 1: How To Place An Order




There are two methods;

1. PLACE BY FEATURE


  • Visit www.Jumia.co.ke
  • Make sure you are logged out.
  • Search for the product/s you wish to buy or want to order 
  • Click ADD to cart or Buy Now
  • Item will be added to the cart shopping basket on the right hand of the browser.



  • Click on the Cart
  • Confirm the items you want to buy value, quantity and total



  • Click PROCEED TO CHECKOUT
  • EMAIL : Customers email.
  • JFORCE PASSWORD : Your email address and password separated by a comma. (johndoe@gmail.com,thinkbig)

If you log in CORRECT you should see a pop up "You are about to log in on behalf of .... " then Click Validate



  • Enter customers Full Names, Phone number and select Region and town. Then click save and continue.

On shipping section, you have two options to choose from 

  • Regular shipping (Door to door delivery)
  • Pickup stations (Choose what you prefer).


Note: Regular shipping will favor customers in Nairobi, Mombasa, Nakuru, Eldoret and Kisumu. If you choose regular shipping in other towns, you will need to pay when placing the order, we recommend you use Pick up for other towns.


  • Last option choose confirm payment option, We recommend use Mpesa on delivery.


Then Click Confirm Order.




DONE.

Always save the order number for future reference


2. PLACE WITHOUT FEATURE;

Just Repeat Method one procedure but here you can 


  • Use your JFORCE E-mail address then your password.
  • Edit out the Address and put your customers details then proceed.

NB
We will NOT pay commission on orders placed using brand vouchers.
We will NOT pay commission on orders placed using App vouchers.
We will NOT pay commission on order placed using wheel of fortune.
We will NOT pay commission on flash sale orders.


Circumstances when you will be forced to prepay your order.(Pay first instead of pay on Delivery).

  1. Your cart has a Jumia Global item
  2. Your order value is above 50,000 (security requirement) 
  3. Your order is under our Pay on Delivery Requirement for the selected product category
  4. You have ordered a large item eg fridge cooker
  5. Your location may not be eligible for payment on delivery.
  6. You have selected posta as your pick up point
  7. You have an unusual number of failed deliveries!
